Tessa returns to the ice next week so they will most likely be missing NHK (official announcement will come from Skate Canada). Her recovery went well and she sounds like she's in good spirits. Best of luck to them as they resume training.

ETA: Yep, they are out of NHK. The competitors list was updated on 11/12 and they are no longer on it. All the best for the second half of the season!

Shpilband said Virtue is planning to return to Canton in early December to begin training with Moir. The couple will be ready to defend their title at the Canadian Championships in January, he said

tessa's back training

I spoke with Tessa yesterday at the Challenge. She said she's back training, everything is going really well and she feels great. She's looking forward to Nationals.
