Langlois, Hay pull out of Skate Canada
Reigning Canadian pairs champions Anabelle Langlois and Cody Hay withdrew Friday from the Oct. 30-Nov. 2 Skate Canada event in Ottawa.
Langlois, 27, underwent surgery in July to repair a spiral fracture in her lower right fibula suffered during a practice session. She received a clean bill of health from her surgeons on Oct. 9, but is still a few weeks away from resuming a full training load.
The Canadian team of Mylène Brodeur and John Mattatall will replace Langlois and Hay at Skate Canada.
